I just decided: Désirée and the cats and me will be moving to Hannover on January 1st, 2010. I had a phone conversation today with Walter Beller from the Naturkindergarten Eilenriede and there is a viable chance that she could be taken in. I have decided to move back to the North of the country, into the area where I have been born and raised, the region where I really feel at home. But this step is a step into the Unknown. Motherhood!
Motherhood has swallowed me whole. I am trying to reconstruct my life around the fact that I am a mother now. It's not an easy job. But I LOVE it! Désirée is an absolute darling and healthy and exactly the "daily miracle" I wished for. Birthstone
The birthstone my father gave me for christmas is a moonstone. I had it mounted in Sterling silver, topped by a beautiful opal. This is what I will (hopefully) wear during birth. -
It's a Girl!!!!!!!!
Something, parents in former times got to hear only after the birth of their child: today I was told that I am expecting a girl! I am thrilled out of my wits! Of course I claimed that a boy would have been fine, my main wish being that the child should be healthy. But to be honest, I wished for a girl. 20th Week: It's Moving!!!
Last Monday, I felt the child for the first time - what a sensation!
