and I did 20 miles on my bike. It only started snowing just at the end of the ride, within a mile of home. And for that I am grateful.

Now I'm off to find a jack for my car, visit Josh's lego store in Salem, and maybe practice cello later. Or bloody not. $75 for a car jack?! Also nobody answered the phone. Maybe another day, blah.

I've had summer tires on my car through the last few storms, and had to shovel even the smallest amount of snow in order to climb out of my driveway to get to work. My driveway is a short but steep hill. My 'allseason' tires arrived on Tuesday, I had them installed on Wednesday and noticed the difference immediately. well, now that i got all that aggression out by shoveling and helping free other trapped cars, I'm feeling much better.

I got a ride to my car, and had no difficulty whatsoever getting it home.

i wanted everyone to know that i'm at work, safe. my windshield washer fluid was no help =P

i just shoveled my car out, it having been on the street. i shoveled about 2' of snow (powder) out of rachel's driveway just to get my car through. her landlord was gracious enough to let me park in one of the spaces (indefinitely). i shoveled a path from my partially snowed in car to the plowed in driveway and, with little visibility, managed ( Read more... )
