I hit 1000 miles on my bike, which I'm totally proud of. Also, changing my driving habits has helped me reach 33mpg in my car. Next week's goal is 35! Tomorrow I have a cello recital, where I will play the following:

Baltimore was awesome. I met cool folks, had great cheese, and got to hang with my best friend Melissa. 16+ hours driving, 480+ miles each way.

and now, sleep.

I've had summer tires on my car through the last few storms, and had to shovel even the smallest amount of snow in order to climb out of my driveway to get to work. My driveway is a short but steep hill. My 'allseason' tires arrived on Tuesday, I had them installed on Wednesday and noticed the difference immediately. yeah, today was a rough day. sure i got out of the driveway just fine but only after jumping the battery.
and once I got to work my day got worse.

Karate was a beautiful saving grace though, thank god.
oh, and i love this song

I need to put new tires on my car. I'd LIKE to put some nice winter tires on my car, so i'm working extra hours over the next few weeks to raise funds for my winter trekking.
Those of you who know cars, know that my tire size: 195/50-16 is weird.

Any suggestions for quality winter tires?
