I finally got home last night. I've got one chapter of my dissertation nearly finished, and it's bloody huge. over 20 pages of single-spaced text, which will likely expand to about 75 with the required formatting and figures. I'm having a bit of trouble typing this, as my left index finger is currently bandaged up and bigger than my thumb. While trying to hack apart the hippo foot this afternoon, the knife slipped and sunk into my finger.
