And it all started so well...

I'm having a bit of trouble typing this, as my left index finger is currently bandaged up and bigger than my thumb. While trying to hack apart the hippo foot this afternoon, the knife slipped and sunk into my finger. The cut initially looked a lot bigger and deeper, but that was just the effect of the blood (and there was a lot of it). In reality it's only about an inch long and a few millimeters deep, but it was enough to be gushing pretty good. The worst part really is that we still haven't finished with the bloody foot and started the head. I'm pissed, more than anything else.

I meant to add (with my impaired typing, I initilly typed that as "ass") this to the previous entry, but forgot (big surprise). The lady that I'm staying/working with is one of those oblivious SUV drivers. She drives in the right highway lane most of the time and doesn't notice when people are trying to merge, doesn't move over to give them room, nothing. And she complained at one point about a semi that one time tried to merge on top of her. Go figure. Then this morning she was driving the wrong way down a one-way lane along front of a shopping center. At first, she didn't realize it was one-way, but when she did, she just continued, despite someone else trying to get her attention and tell her about it. I'm pretty sure I had other examples, but I can't come up with them now.

And due to the injury, the snarge (spelling correction from the previous post) juggling video may not happen. There are two blurry pics of it, but no video yet, I was waiting for more good chunks. We'll see.

And anyone interested in going to this needs to either let me know ASAP or sign up as a Midwest Burners member yourself (free) so you can get in on your own.
