I’ve been asked to speak at a Wright State University forum; their Honors Institute is having a symposium on Chinese-American relations called “Connecting With China”,  and I’m to talk on “Exploring Issues in Cross-Cultural Adoptions” from 2-4 pm, February 17th.

A change in the Wikipedia was reported over to me that took POINT OF DIVERGENCE, the Alternate History discussion APA, out of its page on the term.  The reason given was ‘ well, the group isn’t active and hasn’t been since 2004.’

After thirty years of being in APAs and much of that being involved in the running of several as OE, I just gave up the editorship of POINT OF DIVERGENCE to two folks who will do a splendid job in the role, and hope to settle back into just helping and contributing, and not having the specific responsibility of running the thing.
