Haven't posted in awhile - life has been kind of hectic lately. I just got back from visiting my brother and his wife in Yuma, AZ. I love going out there. We usually just hang out, visit their local haunts, and cap off the visit with a drive to San Diego. I love returning to SD - I have plenty of good memories that overshadow the bad. Grown up things I did today:

- went to the grocery store
- prepared breakfast for me and my man (and by "prepared breakfast," of course I mean "pick up breakfast tacos at the drive-thru")
- cleaned my entire bathroom from top to bottom (!!!)
- did a pretty impressive load of laundry

Back from Roberta's wedding, stuffed with finger food, cake, and drinks from the open bar, wot wot!!! Her wedding was tiny! Just one more day and I'm off to Cabo! The Kid and Traci are actually getting married tomorrow because the whole "wedding in Mexico" seems to have some legitimacy issues stateside. American Idol has wrecked me! Stealth-style! I didn't even realize how addicted I became to David Cook until very recently. I feel like I'm 12 years-old again and mad crushing...damn, who did I crush on when I was 12? Julian Lennon and a-ha. Heh. I still love both, BTW. Fan girl loyalty FTW!

American Idol-verse (this one is short, I promise): I am officially off the deep end. I TURNED OFF DEPECHE MODE earlier in favor of David Cook's pre-AI CD, Analog Heart. Pretty good stuff, I gotta say. Just the kind of music I enjoy.
