On Thursday night, JP and I went to see Shakespeare in the Park. They were doing Othello, which made me a little nervous because the troupe normally performs children's theater and comedy is more in their wheelhouse. Back from Roberta's wedding, stuffed with finger food, cake, and drinks from the open bar, wot wot!!! Her wedding was tiny! I have also recently (re)read Beowulf, most of Shakespeare's sonnets, the first few pages of Spenser's The Faerie Queen (but I dropped that like a bad habit, yo), and a goodly chunk of poetry by John Donne (he will forever remind me of Wizard Howl). Today I attended the longest effin bridal shower ever (we were the first ones there and the last to leave, mainly because when Mom and Aunt Margie get together, it's PARTAY time and I was the one who had to take them home, so...).
