American Idol-verse (this one is short, I promise): I am officially off the deep end. I TURNED OFF DEPECHE MODE earlier in favor of David Cook's pre-AI CD, Analog Heart. Pretty good stuff, I gotta say. Just the kind of music I enjoy.

Basically, my co-worker accused me of not helping her/standing up for her when she got in an argument with a couple of our associates. Since I am friends with them AND her, she thinks I should broker the peace. But, I had to give her the "sorry, Charlie" treatment. I don't take sides.

In the real world, you are my friend? I got your back. As a co-worker in a work-related incident? No way. Let HR mediate their petty shit. So she isn't really "talking" to me, she's making little snide comments, and basically acting like every middle school and high school Barbie-viper who has tried to get under my skin by being a bitchy passive-aggressive. This is exactly why I prefer working with guys, even though they are capable of DRAMA, too. I am just waiting for her to say something that oversteps the line so I can report her.
Nay-nay called last night to beg me to come and pick her up from her grandparent's house (she was visiting for the weekend). I had just gone shopping, so when I pulled up, I put the huge pack of toilet paper in the passenger seat. She opened the door and I asked, "So, who's house are we doing first?" She cracked up and that immediately set the tone for the night. We went and ate at Las Palapas (old hangout) and then drove to our high school to wander around. Trippy.

So, a borderline obsessive crush on a TV character/cute boy rocker, a pretty bitchy girl spewing her shit all over me, and wandering around Holmes with my oldest friend: I think I am back in high school, ya'll. I even broke out last night. Rawk.

nostalgia, work!crap, memories, david cook, idk my bff nay-nay?, american idol
