American Idol! All the time! For at least another week or so!
So, okay - I have been averaging 5-6 hours of sleep a night all this week because I am trying to keep up with the American Idol boards on TWOP (a futile effort, I assure you). But it's loads of fun and it's whipping me into a frenzy for the finale because I love this ridiculous show and I am totally crushing on David Cook.
I was ready to admire the voice and the song choices and the talent. I could appreciate the makeover and the improvement in wardrobe (huzzah!). But those hometown photos of him 1. crying at the warm reception he received and 2. throwing the first pitch out at a Royals game (and looking like the ex-jock he totally is!) were the last straw. I am bona fide crazy about the dude. Also, his mouth (especially when he has a little scruff going on and he's singing or smiling) reminds me of JP's. Aw!
Okay, that's it? No! That's not it! I am totally going to see the AI concert in Houston in August! Yay! Hope the seats are okay. I will get to preview them when I go to that arena in July for the George Michael concert. Speaking of George, I hope he sings Kissing a Fool. That's like my favorite song of his - it's such a throwback. [/random GM info]
In other news, I would talk about work but it's such drama that I just don't have the energy. Maybe another time. Feh.
