So Betty took me to a professional to get my hair cut for a late Christmas present. My bangs have been widened to cover more of my forehead, and the bottom third of my hair is layered. I really, really like it.

The holidays are approaching. Where work is concerned that means that my schedule will get changed around a bit. For example, this week I work five days in a row. F-T. Then I have six days off and then I work two days next week. I'm okay with it because my boss had asked me ahead of time if I could work those days and I said yes. So at work yesterday some random lady approached me and asked if she could follow me around and watch me work.  I was all "um, okay?"  It turned out that she was a new volunteer and wanted to see what she was supposed to be doing.  I volunteered for a year and her job would not be mine.  So I found J and it took about 15 minutes to get everything ( Read more... )

So I've had two full shifts now at work.  My right hand is sore along the side and pinkie.  I have to shelve 3-4 carts per shift and when I close, which is two nights a week, I have to go over every shelf and every row and check that ALL the books (and movies and cds) are lined up straight and then check over the tables.  It's not hard but ( Read more... )
