Today's primary election day, and I'm still sitting on the fence.

I'm sure anyone reading has figured out I didn't exactly vote for Pres-Elect Obama. I still think y'all made a mistake, too. :)  However, he's elected, and he's my pres now, too (or he will be, after Jan 20). Doesn't mean I won't play the part of the loyal opposition, but hey, we have a Constitution, I believe in it, hence the loyal part of that ( Read more... )

We got our sample ballots yesterday, and the "public questions" have me totally boggled. Has anyone else in my home state tried to understand these things? Both are amendments to the state constitution, and they're so utterly full of clauses that I can't even figure out what the point of them is without reading the "interpretive statement." (Yes, I realize this is supposed to push the their tax reform plan, but I'll take the better of the two presidential plans and then go research the even better plan and figure out who I need to get elected in Congress to get it...)

I suspect that no one who actually reads this will be affected, but I'm going to do some housecleaning on my f-list. I'm currently watching a whole bunch of people that are folks in the gaming industry that I don't actually know, people I found who I used to know casually, and some just random folks I met through communities.
