Just made a possible 'gebachens' out of eggs, butter, finely ground lebkuchen, a few oats and some raisins and fried some thickish patties up in butter.  Tasted like Christmas - nom.

On pages -59-60 on the pdf from BSB.  It is clear from this that the concept of a krapfen/fritter according to the desire of the cook.  So far there are filled yeasty donut-y things, some that are like fried pies and some that are ravioli like.  This one spells out multiple yeast options too.

This was a fun exercise.  I will certainly do so cross referencing for the Wecker cookbook.  For example, the almond ziger (cheese) recipe in this book is more of a gelatinized mass rather than the rennet base almond zuger in Wecker.  I
