It was a pretty good weekend but would have been better if there were more organised activities. We spent a lot of time playing cricket and randomly kicking the football. Got my new panniers yesterday and dragged myself across the railway line to go pick them up. Am getting over the flu but I still feel like I want to be in bed. Really want to ride my bike and use the damn things but not quite up to it yet. They are tuff and soooo waterproof. My shins hurt :( ... 5,000 steps at footy training last night, could have been more but was having problems with my calves - there was this weird little cracking/popping feeling around my achilles which was quite unpleasant, so I dropped out of a drill to stretch. I trained last night with the remnants of this flu, and woke up this morning with a snotty nose. Yum. Got very close to beating my PB number of steps in the GCC, but fell a little short.
