end of season trip...

It was a pretty good weekend but would have been better if there were more organised activities. We spent a lot of time playing cricket and randomly kicking the football. We did get split up into teams, and we had an Egg & Spoon race, a guess-the-flavor of the jelly bean, a quiz and a glowstick trail. I ended up on a team with Huddo, Vash and Tiff, and we overall won the weekend. Go team 'eco'. Heheh.

I ended up hanging out with the 'oldies' which I kind of expected. I was a little annoyed about the amount of noise around our dorm the second night, cos I didn't get much sleep, and then Brie and I got up and spent an hour cleaning up after a food fight in the kitchen before it was fit to cook breakfast in!

I also got to clean a meat slicer. I didn't think I would ever have to clean a meat slicer again after I quit Rosewood and started my career as a public servant.

Nic was beautiful and came and picked me up from Claremont oval, which saved me draggin gmy sorry ass home on the train. She bought Bender and he was overjoyed. It was very cute. I missed her so much - it's been a long time since we have been away from each other for a weekend. I had a little nap and then she cooked me dinner. Went to bed lateish and don't feel too bad today.

We are going to do the electrical inspection of the house tonight. Get to see the RCDs and plug stuff in to the power points. Not sure if the gas is on so we might not get to check gas things. Boo. Will be so glad to move out of the stupid rental. We had to relight the pilot on the gas hot water system 3 times last night. Gr.
