Having a pretty down day today. Kind of embarrassing when you send something up to exec with two people with the wrong job titles. I'm starting to think I won't go out tonight. I'm tired and just feel like being in the company of my doggies.

Not sure if I should be here today. Starting to feel a bit better as the cold and flu tablets kick in. They are old ones that still have pseudoephidrin in them but they are past their use by date! :P

FOI is frustrating enough without the same people continually throwing up the same barriers that prevent you from doing your job. I was happy here with ICWA but now I'm wondering if I should make an exit plan (like getting a truck license). There were two sales positions in bike shops advertised on Seek this fortnight, so I sent applications to both of them making it clear that I was looking for evening & weekend work. I got a bite, the manager of one of them wants to meet me. Sounds cool. How awesome would it be to sell bikes as a second job? Whoohoo. Wish me luck!

I think my dad did me a great disservice by telling me I wasn't allowed to become a mechanic. My folks wanted me to go to Uni.
