Last night, I experienced one of the most amazing, if not the best, concerts of my life.
My friend Siobhan and I went to see Carmina Burana, performed by the BPO. It was stunningly masterful. The soloists blew me away, the children's chorus was AMAZING, and the choir...incredible. The orchestra...oh my goodness, words cannot ( Read more... )

I'm planning to audition for the musical, Brigadoon on Saturday. Port of Call, a community theater group in Spencerport (just outside of Rochester) is putting it on. I really love Easter. I think I always have. Really, I'd have to say that it's my favorite holiday. Not just because I still get awesome Easter baskets from my parents (though I do), but because it represents the day that Christ defeated Satan and death and rose from the dead. I have the next 5 days off.  I am one of the most happy people in the world right now.

I had my voice jury tonight.  I was awesome.  Seriously...it went famously...I'm thrilled.  I got to jump 2 levels, so that's fabuloso.

My life has become fairly boring in the past couple of weeks.  I run errands, do stuff that needs to be done in the morning, go to work early afternoon, come home around 9:30/10:30 depending on the night and then either go down to the lake and chill by myself, check my e-mail, read, or watch a movie or television until I go to sleep around 11:30.  ( Read more... )
