I'm pretty exhausted...just got home from musical rehearsal a short while ago. It was long and tiring, but tonight was actually the first time I've caught the vision of what we're doing and I actually think it might turn out decent. See, we're not doing a regular musical, we're doing a "review" of 25 years of musicals. There are like 35 songs or something and it's called "Something Silver." I think now that I know what's up I'm going to like it.
Anyway, I really need to go to bed so that I can live through my horribly long day tomorrow...ugh. At least I have no choir rehearsal or musical rehearsal for once.
Oh, and my recital is getting pushed up to next fall (GRRRR), but it's not totally bad because I'll get to do a full hour recital by myself instead of sharing it with someone I don't really care for and who's voice is um...not good.
I also need to do research on opera internships for the summer because I really should try to get one. That kinda thing looks good on a resume, know what I mean?
BUT, on a happier note, I had a fabulous weekend...Friday night @ the Anchor Bar (one last time before Jesse moves to VT) was buckets of fun with Gidley, Derek, and Derek's girlfriend Laura.
I spent Saturday with
aussiemook,
babythunder, and her husband Tom. I absolutely love them and wish I could spend just about every day of my life with them. Em, Bee, and I went to the new Target in Irondiquoit where they had tons of new scrapbooking stuff, and we looked at lots of adorable baby things for Bee's little baby (eee!!! :-D). Then we all went to the Outback for steak. YUM. To say the least, I like them all because they're nice (well...Tom because he's neat :-p) because they do nice things and they are nice people, unlike the stupid people who I don't like because they're stupid and do stupid things and are stupid because they do stupid things. ;-) Did you know that The Outback is bugged? It is. Oh yeah, and that little Joey is just too cute for words. OH MY GOSH, I love his face! :-D
Yesterday Rob & Lora came home...we just hung out & watched Lyndonville's Abner on video and ate Halloween cutouts (which are my most favorite cookies of the entire year). All in all, A+ weekend.
K...I'm out, my dear bed calls. My cat is trying to eat some donuts right now. Bad Jasper.
Goodnight one and all!
