Well, our second Baronial Birthday is behind us (our first was canceled due to the abrupt loss of our site). It is one of the most relaxed large (160-ish attendees) events evah. Well, it was exceptionally humid, not overwhelmingly hot but made for a very miserable Janina. And a miserable Rorik as the sweat got under his leg bandage and *really* irritated the open wound. He spent a lot of the day in the A/C for survival's sake.

Based on the amount of sloth evidenced over the weekend, we have reached a level of exhaustion that we should really avoid. That was a fun 12th Night! Being a long-time science fiction fan, I kept flashing back to any number of different cons, which wasn’t a bad thing.
