It seems they only visit me at their convenience--even if they have already made the trip to the Twin Cities and are 10-20 miles away from where I live.

Last night I went to a wedding reception for my old neighbor growing up. Jon's age is in between my two oldest brothers, so he's about 8 years older than me. I had never met his wife before that night, and I really liked her. My mom has an old microscope with insect specimens in a box. I asked my dad several times to keep it in the library, which is upstairs. He told me to take it downstairs and I said it would be too humid. I've been home at my parents since Thursday evening. It's been somewhat of a roller coaster.
Mostly down though.
I was so frustrated last night that I resigned myself to the basement.
