So I have a working car again. On Wednesday, the second day the temps reached above freezing, when the car still didn't start I gave in an had it towed to the shop. I knew it was going to have to go in but I was hoping to avoid the added expense of the tow. He charged me $89 which staggered me a little. Things have been...OK at work. There have been ups and downs but for the most part no extremes on either end. Unfortunately the end result of all this stress is that my holiday spirit (never that high to begin with) is pretty non-existent. I can't ever remember that. Even in 1998, the year of El Nino when we didn't really have summer until almost August, it was still never this cool this late in the year.
