It's almost 3am and it is snowing on the last day of winter (Spring officially starts this afternoon). Not sure what time the snow started. During the 10pm news it was raining and sounding like it was turning to sleet. I fell asleep while watching TV (Tonight Show) and when I woke up at 2am it was snowing. Actually more than belly deep. When I got home (snow day at work) I took Toto for a walk. I set him down in the snow next to the sidewalk and half of him disappeared :-)  Since he isn't much of one to play in the snow, picked him up and took him to where there was less snow. It's in the single digits here, 5-8 F and wind chills of -8 to -14 F. It's way to cold here. When I took Toto for his walk this morning I put on his coat and boots on and bundled myself up (leggings, jeans, ski cap, knit cap, sweatshirt, gloves, heavy winter coat).  I woke up and started getting out of bed and I looked out the window and saw that it was snowing :-)  A lovely, gentle, fluffy type of snow. One where you just want to catch snowflakes on your tongue, go for a walk, or sit home and watch it fall. We had a dusting of snow late Christmas Eve, early Christmas morning which lef t just a little bit of snow on the ground. Just enough to call it a white Christmas. It didn't last long as the temp hovered around the freezing point and melted off. Now it is snowing again. I'm up home in MI (using my Mom's computer).  It is only a couple days away from Christmas and trying to get  into the mood. The lack of snow back in KS and warm weather wasn't helping.
