Brrrrrr!!!!! Anyone want to trade?
It's in the single digits here, 5-8 F and wind chills of -8 to -14 F. It's way to cold here. When I took Toto for his walk this morning I put on his coat and boots on and bundled myself up (leggings, jeans, ski cap, knit cap, sweatshirt, gloves, heavy winter coat). I stayed warm though Toto still got cold quick. I may need to find him a heavier/warmer coat if this continues.
KC area got trace to a couple inches of snow from this storm. Most of it went north of here. (ie I-29 was closed Tue morning from St. Joe, MO to the Iowa border due to the storm) I don't know what NE or Iowa, forecast was for 6-10 over NE KS/NW MO (St. Joe, Chillicothe, Maryville, etc) I didn;t hear how much they actually got but sounds like the forecast Mon night was accurate.
I'd gladly take the 6-10" of snow if the temps were in the teens or 20's. This is just too cold. I don't have the clothes for this weather anymore. I wonder if I should pick up a snowmobile suit?
I've fixed a nice warm, hardy breakfast this morning. I needed something warm. Now to finish getting ready for work.
