what a weird, roller-coaster couple of days. wednesday I snapped and found myself in a terrible funk which I suppose I can write off to delayed mid-term stress. so I know I'm always that girl who gets so upset over a B+, but mica was proof that I have to work my ass off to earn it, and if I have to work that hard then that's my best and it's great. and ok, so I would have had another straight A semester without that mica course, but that B+ is the grade I'm most proud of right now.

obligatory update of sorts. that or I'm trying to avoid working. and/or I'm settling into feeling really unhappy again for the night and trying to paw my way out of that trap. making this a nightly ritual over the past week has really been awesome. yesterday on the bus from mica I saw the greatest thing outside the window. you know how shopping centers [like the one with wal-mart, target etc. near hear] will have big lit up signs that show all the stores in the strip mall, but when a store closes down and a new one hasn't taken its place yet, they just turn the panel around backwards so you ( Read more... )
