Need to go to the grocery soon.

Gimme something salty, savory, pungent, or vinegary. The sight and/or idea of sweets -- not to mention the actuality -- are 'bout to make me hurl.

Xmas went fine. Course the trip was fast and busy. I got to my parents at 1:30 Saturday afternoon. I immediately wrapped presents. The family all arrived. We ate. After eating we unwrapped presents. I had my interview for the trainer/curriculum developer job this morning. It went better than I even expected, was actually enjoyable. I have no concrete expectations about getting the job really, but I did enjoy the actual process: being asked questions, having the opportunity to say how I took the philosophy of the job, etc. My interview ( Read more... )

OK: This is what ultimately became of all the Xmas hullabaloo: There were what might be called emotional thumbscrews -- or what might be called active expressions of caring.
