When I booked the car in for its annual service and MOT I did wonder whether doing so in the middle of the Olympics was a good idea, since the service centre is in Walthamstow which in inside the 'Games Zone'. Got a phone call about 3.30 saying I could pick the car up - new cylinders and all (though no fuel left to speak of). Seeing the news in H&H yesterday I did a bit of surfing and found a video clip - of Isabell Werth winning the Dressage World Cup on Warum Nicht. Quite a productive morning - had to clear a space in the garage for the cat litter due to be delivered today, and have managed to fill a couple of bags with rubbish, found one full of shoes one of clothes, and one with metal and electric stuff for recycling, two of cat vetbed that needs washing, and (astonishingly) a case with my missing frameless ( Read more... )
