I have a recurring Tivo problem that is actually a cable problem: sometimes my cable box shuts off when I'm not around, and I don't know why. I am in the midst of an unexpected emergency kitchen remodel. This is not the best of all types of kitchen remodels, but it is by no means the worst. What it means: I suddenly and unexpectedly had a horrendous leak in the kitchen, and it turned out that the hot and cold risers needed to be replaced. How is that not bad news? I got the job! Nice interview today- they told me they'd let me know in a week, but there was an email from the director when I got home, and I start on Friday. Part time, low-key office (if, according to rumor, a bit nutty). $20/hour, which I think is fine for this, though maybe I should have asked for more.
