I'm not getting comment notifications on DW right now. I don't think this is a general problem - I think I broke my notifications settings, and I've written to domtheknight about it. I am checking for comments in my own DWJ, but I probably won't know if you reply to a comment I've made in another DWJ.

2.) I read today that anyone whose comments have been imported to DW now has a registered openID on DW. I tested this on the concept lolaraincoat, and true it was: lolaraincoat's registered openID. I believe this means that lolaraincoat, and anyone else who has ever commented in my LJ, will be given a DW code next ( Read more... )

Well, that happened.

No one likes to be "defriended," especially an old lj friend, and I am genuinely sorry to think that I may have insulted a couple people I really like, including some who have slept on my couch and supped at my table. I just unfriended almost 40 LJs, due to persistent inability to keep up with the flist. I haven't a single blessed thing against any of the people whose journals I cut, and I'm sure I'll see you again- some are people I've known and socialized with IRL, some I've worked with, written with, or just known quite a while on LJ.
