It is super rumbly outside--third night in a row. Ah, and here comes the rain, it sounds like--8:57 PM.

Here I was, ready for bed, turned off my phone and the iPad. I'm watching Channel 5...well, falling asleep to it...and Brant Miller is in with Pete Sack. Brant is the chief meteorologist who works weekday evenings, so for him to be in on a Sunday is a big deal. We had storms overnight, the sort that wake you with how powerful the lightning is. Actually, I woke up for some other reason, then went to the bathroom, then about 20 minutes later the storms rolled in and the lightning was enough to keep me awake for a bit. If it's Sunday, it's call grandma day. While we were on the phone with her, she said there was a weather warning on her TV. Mom and I immediately pulled up the weather on our computers, and there was a severe thunderstorm warning issued for all of us.
