Got to see something unusual today--I was outdoors around 9:30 this morning when I heard geese in the air. I look up and see geese coming from the distance--hundreds of them. Dozens of Vs in the sky, all trying to catch up to each other to make even bigger Vs. The longest I saw could've been a good quarter-mile long. Just...geese, as far as the ( Read more... )

While on my way to school this morning, I spotted this odd bird on the side of the road. It started crossing the street as I got closer, then realized if it didn't move it would be hit shortly and took off. I cannot change the channel on my TV. Ever since yesterday, my digital converter box has been stuck on channel 5. This is all fine and dandy if I want to watch channel 5, but if I wish to watch something else, a box appears saying my service temporarily is disrupted and should be restored momentarily. There is a pond on campus, and during one of my early trips to school I noticed a number of geese hanging out on its shores. These past few weeks of school, they haven't been seen. I didn't fall asleep until 2 or so, but I still awoke at 8. Seven hours of sleep is really my ideal, so being down an hour made me tired for much of the day.
