I'm still pretty wound up from this past week. So much for a restful vacation. I don't think I've crammed this much stress into a short period of time in a while. The other night--I think it was Tuesday--I got out of my car upon returning home and had a "what's that smell?" moment. It smelled like gas. I wondered if it was my car, then proceeded to walk around it, returning to the driver's side door, and didn't smell it again. Okay, maybe I'm imagining things. Happened before. While driving to work yesterday, I saw something that made me gasp: Gas for $4.88 a gallon. It's been well over $5 for weeks. I'm at about a half a tank, so I could go for some gas. On my way home, it was still under $5, so sure, I'll stop. But then every nozzle was covered over with an out of order bag. What gives? Did everyone drink all the gas ( Read more... )
