My dad finished the stage this morning. He got it partially done yesterday but it was warm and he was tired, so he finished attaching the boards to the base as soon as he was able. Mom's car currently is at the body shop, the same one I went to for my car. She decided to go ahead with the hail-caused dent work and we dropped it off this morning. Yes, all of us. I've known for a while that animals love our new deck, possibly as much as my dad. Birds in particular have a lot of fun with it. Not only do they hop around the beams of the pergola, but the little finches can fit through the holes of the lattice and often land there for a few moments to rest.
