This has been a crappy two days. Yesterday I spent an hour and a half stuck in the ally behind D and J's house. It took a combination of me, my mother, a guy who was trying to get down the ally, and the neighbor kids to get unstuck. I went to the chiropractor today. Again. There was a time when I only had to go once every three months or so for maintenance. Now I’m in there several times a month. Sometimes multiple times a week. As predicted, my mother did indeed pass a kidney stone on Thanksgiving. She insisted that she could not take pain medication because it would make her fuzzy headed and keep her from cooking dinner, but the pain was so overwhelming that she was fuzzy headed and unable to cook.
