After 7 weeks of boring days with little to do

We're leaving Thursday morning to drive to Maryland to go see Leighton!  He's getting so big!  Almost 7lbs now, and already 21".

We'll be driving straight through, with a short stop in Cleveland for lunch.  Should be in Maryland around 7pm.  But then we're spending the night Tuesday in Cleveland at my step-dad's.  Driving home is more exhausting.

I've been trying to shrink down all our extraneous stuff by selling off these things.  I sold my eliptical bike (which took up a HUGE, not to mention was very heavy), sold some Zines, sold the carpet cleaner, and will be posting Kelly's bike, tv & bedroom dressers shortly.

He can't maintain his temperature, or keep anything down.

They have him on an iv antibiotic and iv feeding.

Obviously he won't be going home tomorrow, and he's still in the NICU.

They did some bloodwork early this morning, and a spinal tap.  Poor thing.

Kelly's worried, but she seems to be calm.  Her MIL is staying until Tuesday, and then she's coming ( Read more... )

She finally got to hold him and spend time with him! They wouldn't let her down to the NICU until she got her legs back under her. Tomorrow he goes to her room.

You can really see his strawberry blond hair in the latter picture. He looks like Daddy, but has Mommy's hair color!
