We're getting ready to leave (OMG, it's only 5:30!)

If I can, I'll try to post pics, but I can't be assured of using their laptop.

We're leaving Thursday morning to drive to Maryland to go see Leighton!  He's getting so big!  Almost 7lbs now, and already 21".

We'll be driving straight through, with a short stop in Cleveland for lunch.  Should be in Maryland around 7pm.  But then we're spending the night Tuesday in Cleveland at my step-dad's.  Driving home is more exhausting.

I've been trying to shrink down all our extraneous stuff by selling off these things.  I sold my eliptical bike (which took up a HUGE, not to mention was very heavy), sold some Zines, sold the carpet cleaner, and will be posting Kelly's bike, tv & bedroom dressers shortly.

Remember over the summer when he won $1,000 in gas, VIP tickets to the Cubs, and a signed jersey?

Well today he came home from the store and spent $20 on lottery.  He wanted to speak with me privately.

2" of snow?!  Seriously?  36 degrees?  What is this January 19th?

Man, I can't believe it!

Someone asked at work today if we were going somewhere warm.  I said "warmer than here".  "Oh are you going out West?  "No I'm going East!"

It's supposed to be around upper 60's to low 70's for most of the weekend in DC.  And Cleveland will only be 60 for Easter ( Read more... )
