After 7 weeks of boring days with little to do
(okay really 5 since I was off for a week and one week I was really busy), I FINALLY have been busy this week with various things to do.
Shipping is going well, and there is tons of paperwork. I'm organizing the filing (last years needed to be done, too), and have set up several systems to make things run more smoothly.
I seem to have a better knowledge of what needs to be done, so that I don't have to be babysat or ask what paperwork is needed for this or that.
The only "problem" I'm having is that several of the temp employees keep asking me about how much money I make (and sharing their salary), asking how the company's doing financially or order-wise, or asking about their status (some of them will be hired, eventually, I think). I've said time & time again, I cannot divulge that information. This morning one of the Principals actually heard me & another girl (really her) talking and after he came up to me to reiterate the importance of discretion. Which made me feel like I was being scolded when I specifically told him that I take this stuff seriously and absolutely do not divulge financial or personnel information. I take care of some of the HR stuff, but not salary, but I do take care of the drug testing stuff, which has to be done twice a quarter.

Kelly, Stanley & Leighton are moving this week. He's been transferred to Camp Lejeune in N. Carolina. They are renting a house, and the Navy will pack them up Friday. The only things they're taking is the computer, pillows, some clothes (diapers & other baby stuff), and Leighton's playpen. But they won't have their stuff for about 10 days.
She's excited, but worried at the same time. This is going to be a big change for her. She likes the city, they aren't near the base at all. She's getting bored staying at home, so she's hoping to get back to school this summer. Maybe do online for a bit first.

Nothing else going on in my life. My brother, SIL, and baby Tessa came up last weekend. Tessa loved playing with Lily because she is more Tessa's size (they have two BIG dogs). And the feeling was mutual for Lily. LOL
