Seeing as we're not spending our money on a new house just yet we're planning a holiday. While getting away somewhere warm during a Christchurch winter is going to be wonderful the main point of the exercise is to have something to plan. I wasn't sure how Christmassy I wanted to be this year - it's been a shit of a year and, in a lot of ways, I just wanted it over with without any fuss  - but I figured we all deserved something good and that it was important not to give in to the darkness. We've had a very nice time indeed and are all feeling much improved for it.

Jamie has just taken Boadecia off to the cattery and I need to get off my butt and start packing to head off to Auckland tomorrow morning. We spent this afternoon at the bike park trying to encourage Crispin with his bike riding. He managed to have a crisis of confidence  and convinced himself it was too hard dispite several successful outings previously.
