Is it just me, or is the RV industry a little off the beaten path in terms of product naming? It seems that just about every Winnebago or 5th Wheel that passes me guzzling gas at about a half a tank a minute has an incredibly inaccurate name.

I keep thinking about the piping plover (that we didn't see) at Presqu'ile.

We didn't see him because they closed the beach he was on. The piping plover is endangered, so anywhere they might breed has to be closed if they are spotted. It's smart; hopefully it's not too late to reverse the damage we've done in destroying their habitat.

Our yard attracts all manner of wild life, which I love.

In Whitby the apartment was the raised basement of an up-down duplex, so there were nice big windows, they just happened to be at ground level. So, I've thought of myself as something of an enviro-nazi, and it's certainly true that I am very environmentally aware. I think that in terms of conscious environmentally friendly decisions, consumer issues, and recycling etc. I am ahead of the majority of my circle of friends.
