Clearly, I am not entirely in the wrong place when I can successfully crack up a co-worker by coming back to my desk carrying a load of mortgage-related paperwork, sitting down, and saying "still not king."

So when I said, 35 minutes before the date on this post (ed: now slightly back-dated), that I was about to be unceremoniously hustled out the door, I was joking. Or at least, I thought I was...

Point the first, and most important: I'm home (finally) and the trip back really could have gone worse, and I had a lovely weekend visiting orichalcum and cerebralpaladin, amethyst73, contrariety, darkforge, and jendaviswilson.

Apparently, "e-mail with attachments" is the 21st-century equivalent of "fat mailing envelope." :-D

Advantages to interviewing with a social networking company: after you finish the interview, and figure out how to answer the question that stumped you, you can look up your interviewer and tell him so!

Disadvantages: your interviewer may not care. But that's sort of par for the interviewing course...
