Advantages to interviewing with a social networking company: after you finish the interview, and figure out how to answer the question that stumped you, you can look up your interviewer and tell him so!
Disadvantages: your interviewer may not care. But that's sort of par for the interviewing course...
For those of you following along at home, I currently have on summer job offer in New York, one rejection-with-helpful-comments (I love knowing people who know people), one interview process in progress in California, and two lines dangling in the water that may prove to have had their bait washed off. But hey, it's one job offer that I'd be happy to take, so even if I did blow today's interview, I think I'll live. :-)
Interesting side note on phone interviews: I was prepared for the lack of visual feedback and conversational cues, but I was not prepared for him to just up and call me five minutes early. Whoops! Fortunately, by "not prepared" I mean that I taken off guard, not that I was in the bathroom. ;-)
