Well, damn.
Point the first, and most important: I'm home (finally) and the trip back really could have gone worse, and I had a lovely weekend visiting orichalcum and cerebralpaladin, amethyst73, contrariety, darkforge, and jendaviswilson.
Point the second, and rather more pedestrian and unpleasant, it appears that I will not, in fact, be back in the area for the summer. Which I hope wasn't entirely because my brain slowed down to a crawl on the pointer-rearrangement silliness on the second tech interview (which took place at precisely time for dinner, stomach standard time), though that certainly can't have helped. Oh well. Sometimes, you have to wait for the next job?
