I don't really know what to make of myself today. I am rejuvinating by reading and hanging out by the pool in the hammock and in the pool on the little step. We just went to Walkabout Cafe that sells things like Typhoo, PG Tips, and Barry's Tea, true Heinz English beans, Cadbury's chocolate (the kind not sold in the US), Ribena, Hobnobs, and the like. I had a sausage roll, beans, and chips (with vinager and HP sauce) and I am very, very full. I can't believe that this place exists here in Jacksonville ( Read more... )

Last night arsemuffin and I went down to Historic Five Points with AC and her new beau (very cute, by the way). First we went to Sake House for amazing sushi and then to Starlight for beers afterwards (Bass and Blue Moon on tap--what more could I ask for?). I have just found out that not only will the Indigo Girls be playing at the Florida Theater in Jacksonville Tuesday, January 23rd, but The Lemonheads (and guests) will be appearing at Jack Rabbits in Jacksonville on Tuesday, January 30th.
