Walkabout Cafe

Feb 03, 2007 15:07

We just went to Walkabout Cafe that sells things like Typhoo, PG Tips, and Barry's Tea, true Heinz English beans, Cadbury's chocolate (the kind not sold in the US), Ribena, Hobnobs, and the like. I had a sausage roll, beans, and chips (with vinager and HP sauce) and I am very, very full. I can't believe that this place exists here in Jacksonville, and I can't believe that it's about a mile from our new house. Now I can satiate my sausage roll desires whenever I please. Not to mention arsemuffin is in heaven. While we were eating he kept going to the grocery section and finding new items to get excited about: "Look, they have Treacle!" I imagine we'll be stopping there a few times a month.

We came home with:

1 package of Typhoo loose tea
1 box of Typhoo teabags
1 Cadbury's Dairy Milk (caramel)
1 Cadbury's Flake
1 roll of Hobnobs

However I'm going to have to limit my sausage roll intake to one a month. I can feel my ass expanding as I type this entry. And I managed to find my box of smaller jeans, so I want to stay in them, not out of them.
