BYM, or for those not of Quaker speak, Britain Yearly Meeting started this Friday with my normal travel to London then crossing a familiar road to arrive at Friends House. So in Didsbury visiting a friend, and writing up stuff, while I wait for a call from Parcel Force, I waited in all yesterday for them to come and they failed, what I love was that parcel force ask you to log into their web sites to trace your parcel, the reason for this being ironic for me is they are delivering my modem ( Read more... )

Well I have had two meetings this weekend, seen many friends and had a great meal with my godmother Katie. I will write more when I log on tonight.

Well tomorrow I go to London, I am looking forward to it as I will get to see some friends, and balance it with going to a meeting about the summer school that I will be staff on. This is good also because it means my travel is paid for, and my happiness will go up-hill for a few days having seen some close friends ( Read more... )

Not sure if you can look calm, never mind. Well my mum came back from her week away so my logins will of course now be limited again (can't wait till I move out). Before she arrived back I cooked a veggy risotto, and some leek and potatoes soup. I went and saw Spider-Man with Rob, it was quite good, I would like to see the next one ( Read more... )

Well I am in London again, seems like I come here more than I thought. I have been looking after my dad in a non-attention sort of way, e.g. just letting him know i am here. It does not stop me having a go at him, his central heating does not work and has not for over 9 months, he needs a new bathroom... but you know what is the point in having ( Read more... )

OK,so I am in London in an Easy Internet Cafe, for the second time in under a month, this is good in one way (keeps me out of trouble). I am on my way to Edinburgh, I leave tomorrow at 8:30am and am meant to arrive around 1pm which is good and fast. So tomorrow I am off to London again, I am seeing my brother because it is his 24 birthday tomorrow. I am taking him a cake, and I will probably also get his a CD or something.
