Catch up
So I have not been updating all that much, most of the reason is I have been busy, but it can also be contributed to the fact that I have been going through a kind of mental battle (this is not a bad thing for me) with myself This mental battle really is about trying to figure out what I need and want in order to survive properly, some I have worked out and some will take more time.
But I suppose I only really want to give a general catch up today. I have been in London this weekend, it fascinates me that it took me two hours twenty minuets to get there and three hours and forty minuets to get back on the same train system. So I went up on Friday and went to Adam and Beth's Wedding Party, they got married early December so this was an ideal situation to meet people who were unable to attend the wedding itself. I really enjoyed seeing some old friends as well as meeting new people although did get a little over enthusiastic by the white wines available (e.g. Ended up quite drunk). It was also an opportunity to see some Quaker friends that I have kind of lost contact with due to living in the wrong city. When I returned to the flat (mine and my brothers) sat down and watched TV then had a half drunken and very upsetting for me conversation with my brother, it was not easy at all.
On Saturday I went to YFGM (Young Friends General Meeting) planning weekend, this was a good opportunity for me to take part in my first Outreach committee as well as seeing how YFGM's are planned, and of course I also enjoyed seeing people (in a very bias way it was especially nice seeing one of the people I kind of have a flame for). I also had a opportunity to have a proper conversation with a friend who has always been a border line friend only because we have never really had a proper sit down (one of the negative sides to YFGM I think, it is always to hard to sit down and talk to one person, to many people around and to many things happening), it was good being able to talk to someone I had heard so much about from our mutual friends.
Sunday was less complicated got up late watched some TV (realised how much I have missed having one), went out for lunch with my brother, and talked. Left late afternoon, and got to Manchester later than I planned to came home ate and slept.
I am moving today, not really moving but moving some stuff, and more tomorrow and probably more on Friday (slow process).
