I first learned about AMCI through my friend, Maida. The Holy Week vacation of 2006 was fast approaching when Maida invited me and Pow to join them in their Boracay trip together with other AMCI peeps. Before I was even inducted as an AMCI member, I was already anticipating the Sagada Spanish Trail Climb. There are several reasons why I want to join this climb. First, the trail is exclusive only to AMCI. No other mountaineering group is using this trail. Second, the views are really great. And lastly, this is a fun climb! Siyempre, last-minute packing na naman ako for the orienteering weekend. Hindi na nga ako dapat sasama dahil may report ako na hindi ko pa natatapos dahil bumagyo. Buti na lang, the submission was postponed.

1 hour 5 minutes. That's the best I was able to do in the Adidas' "King of the Road" last Sunday at the Mall of Asia. I was disappointed. I don't know why I'm not really exerting any effort in our runs. I was able to finish the 11k run last Sunday in 1hour 16minutes. I was the first trainee to finish the run. But I know I could have done better than that. Kung hindi sumakit ang tuhod ni Leo, malamang mas nauna siya sa akin. Nakakabagot kasi tumakbo, sobrang init. Tapos wala pa akong ( Read more... )
