I just got nominated to be a Yelp Elite! I bet brigid had something to do with it. Also, I can't feel my feet anymore!

Clearly, I need to be sleep deprived more often as life seems really good right now but I am probably just slap-happy.

I know it's only Ain't It Cool, but I still feel really special for helping every year to make the Con a success.

I survived it. Anime Boston 2006 is completely and utterly over. This year was a lot less fun than previous years for a number of reasons. Well, my crippled-ness hasn't gotten any better, and two days ago I braved the pain to go to Little Stevies for their $4 lunch special (nearly half a pizza and a drink). I had a pretty good time at Arisia, although it was a lot smaller than I had expected and had even fewer things that interested me than I had thought. Still the things I did enjoy, I really liked. D1 has once again joined civilization and has toilet paper dispensers! Last week, the school decided we needed new bathroom stalls. Sounds simple? Oh, not for Hampshire. To set up one partition and two doors took three days. Then it took four more days to install toilet paper dispensers. Holy God, this school is inept.

Right after getting back on campus school work hit me hard, I've spent the last two days working furiously and have finished revising two of my memoir pieces. I still have a lot to do, including creating two lesson plans to present to Natalie on Friday and in two weeks be prepared to lead them for two groups of kids at two different schools.
