Yet another thing I like about Boots hair wax: it does a really remarkable job of shielding my hair from the effects of chlorine. It's seriously waterproof. As truepenny observed, "That's kind of what you'd expect from wax, isn't it?" Which, true; but most hair goop wears off after being, you know, slept on. I'm trying to grow out my hair. It's longer now than it's been since 1997 or so, which is to say that it's more than two inches long. It's actually down to my eyebrows in front. I've even been letting it grow out over my ears, which hasn't been the case since about 1993.
