After November 4, we won't have heard the last of Sarah Palin.

I would have been happy to forget all about Bristol Palin, her pregnancy and the all-too-typical guy (bellicose small town jock athlete) who knocked her up. Word is that Mitt Romney (former Massachusetts governor and failed Republican Presidential candidate) is already putting out feelers for a run in 2012, and has set up a leadership PAC that, while ostensibly created to funnel contributions to conservative candidates (which it will do), is easily shifted to support a presidential run.
