So it turns out that I won't be needing to buy a copy of PowerPoint after all, since the latest version of OpenOffice lets me print PowerPoints in handout view. Ugh, I forgot that my parents' computer doesn't have any decent image editing programs on it. Technically, the ones that I use on my computer probably don't qualify as decent, the software came with my ancient scanner, but most of the image editing that I do is rotating of images, cropping, and scaling images, which is all pretty basic stuff. I just called California Precision Service to find out about when to expect my camera back. I found out that they just got in the lens assembly in from Fujifilm and my camera is next in line. The person I talked to said that the camera should be done tomorrow and they'll ship it back to me the same day. She said it should arrive here on Monday ( Read more... )

I sent my camera to California Precision Service over three weeks ago now and I'm rather anxious to get it back. Actually, I used the UPS tracking thing when I sent it and found out that it arrived and was signed for on November 4th, so it arrived over three weeks ago.

I just realized that I should have enough time to take my camera over to UPS to have it shipped to the repair center tomorrow after the Applications Programming lecture if I skip the lab.
